Porcelain with Maker's Mark from 2011 Field School

These items were found during the 2011 Field School at MSU. They are 5 pieces of white porcelain. The glaze is a clear glaze, no specific idea of the makeup of the glaze. There is no decoration, but a very faded maker's mark that is indistinguishable. They are about 2.5 to 7.5 cm in length. They are possibly pieces of a cup, saucer, or other small utensil.

This item was found during the 2011 Field School at MSU. It is a piece of ceramic, specifically Rockingham Ware. The paste is fine grained, hard, and porous. The glaze is a manganese-brown glaze, no specific idea of the makeup of the glaze. There is no decoration. It is about 5 cm long and 8.5 cm wide.

Whiteware Handle from 2011 Field School

These items were found during the 2011 Field School at MSU. They are three pieces of ceramic, two pieces forming a possible cup, and one piece a ceramic handle. The paste is fine grained, hard, and porous. The glaze is a clear glaze, no specific idea of the makeup of the glaze. There is no decoration. The first piece is about 6 cm high, with a diameter of 5-6 cm. The handle is 6 cm high and around 12-13 cm along the curve.

The glaze is a clear glaze with red and blue, no specific idea of the makeup of the glaze. There is a floral and organic design. It is about 7 cm long and 1-3.5 cm wide. It is possibly part of the rim of a plate.
